Oeco Energy Assessment
Carbon Emissions And Energy Efficiency
Did you know that buildings now produce half of all the UK's carbon emissions? This is almost twice the carbon emissions produced by cars and aeroplanes combined!
The way a building is manufactured, constructed, insulated and ventilated all contribute to its carbon emissions and energy efficiency.
An energy assessment or inspection determines how to improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce the buildings carbon footprint.
Improvements To Make A Building More Energy Efficient
An accredited energy assessor produces a predicted energy performance alongside an associated report which suggests any improvements to make a building more energy efficient.
The predicted energy performance provides an energy rating for the building.
The energy rating scale runs from A to G, with A being the highest and G being the lowest.
The average UK home achieves a D rating.
B Rating For Energy Efficiency and Environmental Impact
Independent assessment of our garden buildings indicates that our buildings perform extremely well in both environmental impact and energy efficiency.
All our garden building are predicted to achieve a B rating for energy efficiency and a B rating for environmental impact.
Don't forget the average house only achieves a D energy rating!
